2. How We Use Your Information
We process personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and schedule demos you request.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and underlying infrastructure.
- Analyze traffic and engagement trends to optimize content and marketing performance.
- Run retargeting or interest-based advertising within platform policies (Meta, LinkedIn).
- Prevent fraud, secure our systems, and enforce legal terms.
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to valid legal requests.
We rely on the following lawful bases (under U.S. privacy frameworks) for processing: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps; our legitimate interests in operating and growing the business; and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use first-party and third-party cookies, pixels, and scripts to:
- understand how visitors use the Site (Google Analytics);
- measure advertising effectiveness and build look-alike audiences (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag);
- visualize user behavior to improve UX (Microsoft Clarity).
You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Opt-out mechanisms for Meta and LinkedIn advertising are available in those platforms’ ad preference centers.
4. Disclosures & Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that perform business functions for us (e.g., website hosting, analytics, email delivery, demo-booking tools).
- With customer-relationship-management (CRM) platforms—to centralize lead data, automate follow-ups, and measure pipeline conversion; any CRM provider will be contractually bound to process data solely on our behalf.
- For legal or safety reasons, such as to comply with a subpoena or protect rights, property, or safety of Blackbird, our users, or others.
- In a business transaction, such as a merger or acquisition, where personal information may transfer to the successor entity subject to the promises in this Policy.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Aggregate or anonymized data, which no longer identifies an individual, may be retained indefinitely.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—such as HTTPS encryption in transit, least-privilege access controls, and routine software patching—to protect personal information. However, no Internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure; please use caution when sharing data online.
